I became fascinated by the unknown of the sky following my experiences in my early 20s. At the beginning of my college career, I was undeclared and unsure of what interested me. I left my previous school to find my way, and through that struggle I often found myself looking into the darkness and depth of the sky. I have found my way through the stars, and have felt the wonder of it, and the loneliness.

A lot of these photographs expand on the common question of what is out there beyond our atmosphere; do we know? Humans experience an array of emotions, including senses of loneliness, wonder, and uncertainty. The infinite sky is filled with both immense darkness and intense specks of light, and everything in between. Exploring the depth of the sky, I realized the stars, moon, and sun to be connected with this sense of darkness and light. There is light within the stars that are scattered within the depths of infinite space. The full moon can light up the earth and portrays is as daytime. The sun gives light to everything below; us, moon, and stars. Without any of this light, would earth be below? And without darkness, would the light have meaning?
